The KDL5 MANUAL is the entry-level model in the KDL5 series and the perfect system for the discontinuous distillation of liquid or low-viscosity products at room temperature. The system is operated manually.
The KDL5 MANUAL + is the perfect system for the discontinuous distillation of solid or highly viscous substances (at room temperature). The system is operated manually.
The KDL5 SEMI + is utilized for the semi-continuous distillation of solid or highly viscous products at room temperature. Carousels on the outlet for distillate and concentrate allow up to five samples to be taken without having to interrupt the distillation process in a vacuum (Click here to watch a video on the carousel discharge option). This is a particularly suitable sampling option for inhomogeneous or polymerizing products that cannot be pumped.
The KDL5 CONTI is designed for automated operation in a continuous process. Pumps continuously feed in material and discharge distillate and concentrate. This makes it possible to take samples at any time without having to interrupt the distillation process under vacuum. The KDL5 CONTI is designed for demanding operators who want to obtain results quickly. The KDL5 CONTI is suitable for the continuous distillation of substances that are liquid or of low viscosity at room temperature.
The KDL5 CONTI + is the top model in the KDL5 series. This model is characterized by maximum user-friendliness and therefore quickly achievable results. Continuous distillation is made possible by the pump-based feed and discharge systems. The heated feed container ensures maximum flexibility with regard to the substance to be distilled. Substances that are highly viscous or even solid at room temperature can be distilled in the KDL CONTI +.
